I'm surprised we haven't seen one of these sooner. Here's an example of a note chart for drums for Rock Band's Should I Stay or Should I Go. If you really want to study the note pattern without getting into the game, this is the way to do it. Now that I look at it, I think they should rotate the sheet 90 degrees so it becomes vertical.
